Description

After several years abroad Chef Giorgio Cicero decided to come back to his home town to realize the dream of founding his own restaurant. In his kitchen he brought his experience, proposing a menu strongly connected to local traditions and to the territory.

In his own words "Cooking is culture, history. A journey in search and continuous discovery of emotions and memories".

 

Service details

  • The base cost for the Chef is 250€. There is an extra cost of 50€ for larger groups (6 or more)
  • Wine in not included in the menu. You can choose à la carte or decide a price range with the Chef
  • You won't need to worry about anything. We cook in your villa, we serve each dish and we clean up before leaving

 

MENUS

  • Apericena (30€ per person)

Description: Sicilian Arancine selection (meat and fish types), Squid ink with lemon jelly, “Norma” bread Cracker, salumi and cheese selection, Ricottine, mini veal burger, “Panzanella” salad, bread, battered vegetables, fried fish paranza, pork belly, vegetables pinzimonio and Sicilian Cous cous.

 

  • Traditional (35€ per person)

Description: A menù based on the culinary tradition of our territory. Appetizer: focacce modicana, arancine, cheeses, olives and capuliato (dry tomatoes). First course: ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and pork sauce. Second course: pork meat and sauce. Dessert:Cannolo di ricotta

 

  • BBQ (45€ per person)

Description: The barbecue of the chef Giorgio Cicero includes local product as pork belly from Nebrodi black pig, pork rolls with lemon leaf, rib eye of veal, marinated chicken wings, Sicilian prawns with “sarmoriglio” (dressing with olive oil, parsley, garlic), fish skewers (swordfish, octopus and sardines), Mixed local fresh salad, panzanella siciliana (tomatoes, capers, celery and e anchovys) and grilled vegetables.

 

  • Wine, Olive oil & Cheese Tasting (70€ per person)

Description: The tasting includes the PDO Sicilian cheeses (Ragusano PDO, Sicilian Pecorino, Vastedda Valle del Belice, Piacentino Ennese and Provola dei Nebrodi) combined with three Sicilian wines, tasting of two varieties of Sicilian extra virgin olive oils combined with bread. To complete the tasting there will be a menù with first and second course and dessert.

 

  • Special dinner with raw food (90€ per person)

Description: Special dinner with the best sea and land food selection raw served (red shrimp, prawn, oysters, slippers lobsters, sashimi chef’s selection, marinated fish and meat selection, donkey or beaf tartare.

 

  • Innovative - Tasting Menù (100€ per person)

Description: Appetizer: Donkey Tartare with capers, turnips, white wine, oregano and Ragusano PDO cheese. Cuttlefish with topinambur, coffee, pear, rucola and black sesame. First Course: Spaghetti “Finta Carbonara” with carrots pureè, anchovy, guanciale, carrots chips and crispy Ragusano PDO cheese. Risotto grains (Senatori Cappelli type) with “cosaruciaro” beans, clams, slipper lobsters and rosemary. Second Course: Codfish, broad beans (Cottoia type), mustard and hazelnuts; Veal with porcini, cardoncelli and pioppini mushrooms. Dessert: Mousse with chocolate from Modica, pistachio icecream and bread wafer
